Eligibility Criteria for Constable (GD), Head Constable, ASI posts:
Minimum Physical standards:
Height
Male: 168 cms or more for Gen./SC/OBC, 160 cm for ST.
Female: 158 c.m. or more for all categories female candidates.
Chest:
Male: Min. 81 CMs (Without blowing) / 86 cms (after blowing) for Gen./ SC/ OBC candidtes.
Male: Min. 76 CMs (withour blowing) / 81 cms (after blowing) for ST candidates.
Female: N/A.
Educational Qualification:
Constable (GD): Class 10th passed with the 10+2 pattern or Higher Secondary (class 12th) or equivalent Examination passed.
- Only class 8th Passed for ST Candidates.
Constable (Driver): Class 10th / Higher Secondary (12th) passed and have valid driving licence.
- Candidate belonging to ST category should have passed class 8th Exam only.
Constable (for various trade): Class 10th exam passed under 10+2 pattern or Higher Secondary (12th) exam passed from a recognized board. Apart from this, candidates must have knowledge of the relevant trade.
- Candidate belonging to ST category should have passed class 8th Exam only and have knowledge of the relevant discipline.
Head Constable (Computer): Class 12th / 10+2 exam passed with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Math). One year diploma in Computer Application / IT from affiliated Institution by a UGC recognized Univeristy.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (Computer): Candidates must be Graduate in Computer Science / IT from UGC recognized university or 3 years Diploma in Computer / IT from Polytechnic college recognized by RGPV.
Age limit: 18 - 28 years as on 01-08-2016. Relaxation in upper age limit of reserved categories candidates will be given as per govt rules.

MP Police Constable Admit Card 2016 / Exam Date:
The MPPEB Bhopal will hold the online examination for selection of Constable / HC / ASI (Computer) posts on 17th July 2016. The examination will be conducted in two shift, 1. 8:50 am to 11:00 AM and 2. 2:50 pm to 5:00 pm. However, candidates have to report themselves on examination centre at 7:30 AM and 1:30 PM respectively. 2 hrs 10 minutes will be given to the candidates for the test.
