 NCC Indian Army Special Recruitment for 2021: 

 

Indian Army invites application for short-service commission (SSC) awarded by the Indian Army in accordance with NCC Special Entry Scheme 49th Court – April 2021 by married and unmarried males and unmarried females candidates and by the Wards of Battle Casualties of army personnel.

The deadline for applications to be submitted is 15 July 2021.

Age preference -

  • 19 to 25 years  (1st July 2021)

  • Born between 02 Jul1996  to 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive)

 Qualifications in education:


Certificate holders for NCC 'C':


(2) University degree or equivalent, having regard to the marks of all the years/semesters, of an aggregate of at least 50 percent marks.

(2) The last year students should also be permitted to apply if, for the first two / three years, a total mark of at least 50% is obtained.
If accepted in an interview if their candidacy is not terminated, such pupils will have to ensure an overall total of a minimum of 50 percent mark.

(3) NCC service – Should have been in the Senior Division/Wing of the NCC for at least two academic years.

(4) Grading – The minimum of 'B' in the 'C' certificate examination by NCC should be attained.

Casualties of military personnel for ward of battle:

(1) Graduation of an acknowledged university or of an equivalent of at least 50 percent marks taking all year/semester marks into consideration.

(2) Certificate of NCC 'C' not necessary. 


Taking into account physical standards:


(a) Height and Weight — For women candidates, the minimum permissible height of 157.5 cm is 152 cms and 42 Kg.
The high is 5 cm lowered and weight is equivalent to reduced height for the candidate in North-East and Hilly areas like Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwalis.
The minimum permissible height is decreased by 2 cm for Lakshadweep applicants.

(a) Visual standards – Vision (corrected) for male candidate distance 6/6 and 6/18.
Myopia should not exceed -3,5D and not exceed +3,5D including Astigmatism. 


Selection Procedures fot NCC Candidates 

(a) Application Shorter Listings – The integrated MoD HQ (Army) reserves the right not to assign cause to determine the cutoff mark % for short-lists of applications.
The Center allocation will be informed through e-mail to the candidate after the shortlisting of applications.
Upon allocation of the Selection Center, you will need to login to the website and pick your SSB days, initially served on your website, up to the given date. 

(b) SSBs in Selection Centres, Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Kapurthala are only eligible shortlisted. (b) (PB).
The relevant Selection Center will issued a call-up notice for the SSB Interview on the e-mail ID and solely SMS of applicants.
At the discretion of the Directorate-General for recruitment, the Allocation of the Selection Center shall be held by the MoD (Army) IHQ and NO request for modification. 

(c) Candidates must be selected via two stages.
Those who clarify Phase I will reach Phase II.
On the same day, those who fail in stage I will be returned.
SSB interviews last five days, and details may be found on the official website of the Indian Army.
The exam for applicants who are recommended following step II will be followed by a medical examination.

d) Servicing applicants selected and medically adjusted by SSB shall, based on the amount of openings available, be granted joining letters for training on the merit.
