Pay Scale: Rs.13150-34990/- and other allowances, DA, HRA, City Compensatory Allowance, TA etc. as admissible from time to time. Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.14650/-. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments for Assistants is approximately Rs.32124/-.
Eligibility Criteria for RBI Assistant Vacancy 2016:
Educational Qualifications: Candidate who wants to apply for RBI Assistant Recruitment 2016 must have Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with the minimum of 50% marks (Pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
Age limit: Age of candidates should be between 20 and 28 years as on 07-11-2016. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 08-11-1998 and not later than 07-11-1996 (both days including) are only eligible to apply for RBI Recruitment 2016.
Relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates will be given as per RBI norms.

Application fee: Application fee / Intimation Charges will be not-refundable. Candidates belongings to SC/ST/PWD/Ex. should pay only intimation charges Rs.50/- and Rs.450/- for OBC/General candidates (Examination fee+intimation charges).
Staff candidates are expected from payment of any fee.
After successful submission of RBI Assistant online Application, candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form containing fee details.

Candidates who have submitted their application successfully will be called for Preliminary Examination first. RBI Assistant Admit Card 2016 will be available to download at www.rbi.org.in. Roll No. of the candidates successful in the preliminary online examination will be made available on RBI's website in January 2017. The Roll No. of Candidates successful in the main online examination will be available on bank's website and a brief notice will be published on the Bank's website in February / March 2017.
